Deal or No Deal
Readily applicable frameworks are a key ingredient to decision-making in learning. The DEAL framework is one that I have found success with in being able to determine specific learning needs and respond accordingly. You can develop your own simply through recognising key aspects of educational theory that empower you to make the decisions that you need to.

The DEAL Framework
The DEAL Framework focuses on four key considerations to support decision making in learning. These are:
1. Deliberate Practice
2. Engagement
3. Autonomy
4. Learning
Each of these contains pre-determined options that are available to action in this process.
